Khushboo was established on 13 November 1995 as a non-profit organization under the Societies Act, 1860 to provide holistic care and multifarious services to people with mental and multiple disabilities.

Message from the President
Dear Friend,
The last quarter has been eventful at Khushboo on many fronts.
Our focus on sports motivated Khushboo children to achieve new milestones.
Soni and Pinki participated in Floor Ball selection Camp organised by Special Olympic Bharat, Haryana. Soni got selected for the Floor Ball National Coaching Camp (NCC) to be held from 15th to 20th November at Haridwar. Their participation and selection gives us the confidence that we seem to be doing the right things.
Work on the Tauru residential project is progressing steadily. The boundary wall got completed and the detailed layout design has been finalized by the Architect. The construction would progress as we are able to raise funds.
I request all of you to come forward and help us in this endeavor.

Nirbhay from Pre-School was selected for photo-shoot by Special Olympic Bharat. SOB is promoting young athlete program.

Sports for all
Our 30 Children participated in the event b Sports & Disabilityb in various sports activities like Relay race, Kick and goal, Cycling, Soft Ball and Run organised by Fostering Inclusion & Well Being at Tau Devi Lal Stadium.
- 12 Children won the Bronze medal
- 9 Children won the silver medal.

Floor Ball Selection Camp
Our 2 Children Soni and Pinki participated in Floor Ball selection Camp organised by Special Olympic Bharat, Haryana.

Happiness Unlimited
b Happiness Unlimitedb program Organised by b IN FOR THE CAUSEb in association with b THE PALM Country Clubb . Our 6 Children participated in the program. They planned various activities for the children with different disabilities.

Farewell of Raksha Jaffer
Farewell party was organized for (Executive Admin) Raksha Jaffer. Team Khushboo wishes good luck for her future endeavors. She has got admission for 2 years MBA course at SOIL School Of Business Design, Manesar, Gurgaon

Independence Day Celebration
We celebrated Independence Day at the Centre. National Flag was hoisted. Cultural performance was given by the children b

Raksha Bandan Celebration
Raksha Bandhan was celebrated at the Centre and the children tied the Raksha sutra on each otherb s wrist.

Group Dance competition
Our 12 children participated in Group Dance competition organised by b Very Special Artb at b India International Centreb - Auditorium, New Delhi. The theme was b Save Waterb . Our children won the 1st Prize.

Creative painting by BlackRock Company
30 Employees from the BlackRock Company visited our Centre. They did the creative painting on the walls of classrooms, Ramp and painted the classroom furniture under CSR Program. Concern India Foundation took this initiative.

Visit by ASHA
Ms Aakansha Lamba and Mr. Hemant Vaidyanathan came for the annual site visit of Khushboo on behalf of ASHA (USA). They saw the teaching strategies and working of the Centre.

Teacherb s Day Celebration
Teacherb s day was celebrated at the Centre on 5th September with the children. The entire staff members went for a movie at Carnival-Reheja Mall followed by lunch at Harish Bakery.

Walk by VEGA School
Our 13 Children with 2 staff members participated in a Walk organised by VEGA School in Cyber Hub to raise awareness on multiple disabilities.

Medical Camps at Khushboo
20 Children with neurological conditions were attended by paediatric Neurologist Dr. Pooja G. Kapoor.
14 Children were attended by Dr. Sanjay Sarup, Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon.

Workshops and Staff Trainings

Workshop for Parents
Our Clinical Psychologist Shilpi Aggarwal conducted a workshop on Awareness regarding management of Menstrual Cycle for girls.
10 Mothers attend the workshop. The purpose of the workshop was to help the mothers to understand their daughters during these days and train them.

Staff Training
2 Staff members attended a Multidisciplinary workshop on b Understanding & Supporting Children with ADHDb organised by b SOCHb Momb s Belief. The focus was on b How to make strategies to handle children and psychological view of ADHDb .
